How Pushback works
Paste the message. Pushback identifies what's happening, picks the right tool, and drafts a firm reply — referencing your actual contract clauses, payment terms, and revision limits.

Payment visibility
Add a payment due date to any project. Pushback tracks it, flags overdue invoices on your dashboard, and pre-loads the right follow-up tool — so you never have to manually chase a late payment.
Overdue badge
Past-due invoices surface as a red alert on your dashboard — with the exact number of days overdue so nothing slips through.
Due soon warning
Invoices within 3 days of their due date get an amber warning — get ahead of it before it tips into overdue.
One-click follow-up
Click any overdue alert and Pushback pre-selects the right reminder tool for the stage you're at — first notice, second chase, or final warning.
Contract analysis
Upload your contract once. Pushback flags risky clauses, surfaces what's missing, and tells you exactly what to say back — so every response references your actual agreement, not generic advice.

Pro feature
Uses the same credit pool as response generation
Document generation
When words aren't enough, generate a formal document. Each one pulls your project details and contract terms automatically — ready to send or attach.
SOW Amendment
Scope changed mid-project? Generate a formal amendment that documents the new deliverables, revised timeline, and updated fee — and gets both parties back on the same page in writing.
Dispute Package
Client escalating or threatening a chargeback? Compile a dispute package with your original agreement, all communications, and a formal record of what was delivered — ready to send or escalate.
Kill Fee Invoice
Client cancelled after work started? Generate a kill fee invoice that references the cancellation clause in your contract and the work completed to date — no awkward back-and-forth.
Pro feature — uses the same credit pool as response generation
How many responses can I generate on the free plan?
1 AI-generated response and 1 contract analysis — enough to try the full flow end-to-end. Pro accounts get 150 responses and 50 contract analyses per month.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT?
Pushback has 21 situation-specific tools built for client disputes — not a general-purpose chat. It knows your contract, tracks your project history, and drafts responses that reference your actual terms. The output is copy-ready, not a draft you need to rewrite.
Where do my client messages and contracts go?
Pushback sends them to Anthropic (Claude) as a data processor to generate responses. Anthropic does not retain your content for training. Raw contract text is read, analyzed, and discarded — only the structured analysis is stored on your account.
What if Pushback identifies the wrong situation?
You can ignore the suggestion and pick a different tool from the sidebar. Every response is also editable before you copy or send — Pushback drafts the message, you decide what goes out.
Is the AI output legal advice?
No. Pushback drafts professional, ready-to-send responses based on your situation and contract. It is not a substitute for a lawyer. For high-stakes disputes, escalate to a qualified professional.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?
Yes — from the billing portal in your account settings. You keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
How does payment tracking work?
Add a payment due date to any project. Pushback tracks it and surfaces overdue invoices as alerts on your dashboard — with the exact number of days past due and a direct link to the right follow-up tool. No manual chasing required.
What documents can Pushback generate?
Three: an SOW amendment (when scope changes mid-project), a dispute package (when a client escalates or threatens a chargeback), and a kill fee invoice (when a client cancels after work has started). Each pulls your project details and contract terms automatically. Document generation is a Pro feature.
